Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected late this afternoon and evening, with storm coverage increasing overnight. The strongest storms will be capable of producing large hail (potential for larger than golf ball size), damaging winds and an isolated tornado.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and increase in coverage tonight. Localized rainfall amounts over an inch are possible which may lead to flooding in low lying and urban areas. The highest risk for flooding appears to be in the Concho Valley, Edwards Plateau, and northwest Hill Country.
