Tracking Atmospheric River in the Northwest U.S. and Clipper with Winter Weather in the Northeast U.S.

A prolonged atmospheric river will continue to bring gusty winds, heavy rainfall which may lead to urban and river flooding with possible landslides, and heavy inter-mountain snow over the Pacific Northwest into the northern Rockies through Thursday. Once again this year, the La Crosse National Weather Service office is hosting a booth at the La Crosse Boat, Sports, Travel, RV & Hunting show at the La Crosse Center in downtown La Crosse, WI. We will be there through Sunday afternoon.

Our booth location has moved - we are now in the upper Ballroom. Take the escalator or stairs up to the 2nd level.

At our booth we will have a tornado chamber, a lightning simulator, and a static electricity generator (van de Graaff generator). We'll also have a variety of informational brochures and weather-related videos.
