Heavy Rainfall in South Florida; Active Weather in the West

A stalled front will continue to bring additional heavy rainfall potential over the next few days across southern Florida, with localized and urban flooding possible. A strong Pacific storm will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms across the Northern Great Basin, the Rockies and into the Southwest through Saturday. Overview

Severe Thunderstorms developed on the evening of July 10th, 2017 across much of southeast Iowa and west central Illinois. These thunderstorms produced torrential rainfall, frequent lightning small hail and damaging winds. Downed trees, power lines and damage to structures was reported in Bushnell and New Philadelphia in McDonough County.
