Central Indiana is about to have its coldest weather since the middle of February.  The high in Indianapolis Thursday should be 26. Normal for December 8 is 41. The last time the high was below freezing was February 14.

Given these will be the lowest temperatures in many months, neither people nor pets will be accustomed them. This may increase the risk of hypothermia or frostbite. Be careful to say warm Thursday.

Cold as tomorrow is going to be--things could be worse. The all time record low for Indianapolis on December 8 is 10 below zero, set in 1882.
