A strong cold front will cross the Mid Atlantic states today. 
Rain will be moderate to heavy at times with a chance for
thunderstorms.  

A brief cool down is expected for mid-week followed by 
warming temperatures for Thursday and Friday.  Another
front will provide an opportunity for showers next weekend.
