Tropical Storm Imelda has formed near the Bahamas Sunday afternoon, and continues to bring heavy rainfall. The risk of significant wind impacts from Imelda along the Southeast coast are decreasing. NWS recommends all partners register at their first opportunity for an account on the new EDIS system. If you have any questions, or problems, please send an email to:TOC.NWSTG@noaa.gov​
Also recommend customers sign up to receive NWS change notices via email at their first opportunity to ensure any planned NWS service changes or updates. Customers can sign up on the following web page http://www.nws.noaa.gov/os/notification/notif-list.shtml
NOTICE:
As of September 7, 2016, the new EDIS service is now active. To use the new service, you must submit your emails using the designated PIN assigned upon registration. The new Email address for this service will be as follows:
NEW EDIS Email Address: nws.rthkwbc.ops@noaa.gov
OLD EDIS Email Address: rthkwbc@noaa.gov
The old email address, rthkwbc@noaa.gov is planned for decommissioning on Thursday October 6, 2016. NWS recommends users begin transitioning to the new email address on September 7, 2016 to ensure successful delivery of all products sent via email.
