Near Average Tonight
There is a slight chance for some storms to impact the far western OK Panhandle in the early evening before 7 PM. However, the main activity is expected after 7 PM into the overnight period. The best chances for rain will be across the northern to northwestern half of the combined Panhandles, with a slight chance to chance across the southeastern TX Panhandle. There will be a potential for some strong to severe storms to form, mainly for damaging wind gusts. Some localized flooding from torrential rainfall will be another hazard to watch for.
