With widespread and prolonged rainfall expected Today, the southern Texas Panhandle has been included in an Excessive Rainfall Outlook. Localized flooding is the main concern, with possible isolated thunderstorms through the afternoon.

Residual precipitation across the Panhandles on Wednesday has prompted an outlook for a marginal (level 1 out of 4) risk for excessive rainfall for the Panhandles. Current information suggests that the eastern Panhandles will likely be the most impacted.
