Stronger winds will return on Monday across the Panhandles with widespread gusts of 30 mph or higher. The northwestern Panhandles currently have the higher potential for gusts to reach or exceed 40 mph. The warm, dry, and windy conditions will lead to critical fire weather concerns on Monday.

Warm and dry weather looks to hold over the next couple of days with afternoon highs holding in the 70s and potential for fire weather Monday. A brief cooling trend is anticipated for Tuesday before temperatures rise again on Wednesday. By the end of the week, however, there are signs of a pattern shift that could lead to more active weather by next weekend.
