Late this evening through the early morning hours of Saturday a small scale weather system will bring a low chance for a dusting of snow. This will be mainly across the central to eastern panhandles. The individual snow flurries will travel in a North to South fashion.

Cold air will spread across the panhandles tonight into early Saturday morning which will be coupled with a gentle to moderate breeze. This will drop the wind chills down to the low single digits. This can cause both hypothermia and frost bite so bring the pets in and dress accordingly.

After highs in the 50s for Friday, a cold front with some flurries possible with front will move through Panhandles dropping temperatures for Saturday. On Sunday into early next week, a warm up with some above average temperatures expected as we start February.
