Continue to do what you are doing to combat the heat, as it is sticking around. Only a 20 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms exist for the far northwestern Panhandles (Cimarron County and surrounding areas) late Monday and Tuesday. We lose some of the humidity Monday and Tuesday, especially around the TX Panhandle. This may potentially lead to some elevated fire weather conditions for areas that do not have green vegetation under the current drought conditions.
