A broken line of storms is expected to traverse from northwest to southeast across the Panhandles this afternoon and evening, bringing the potential for large hail, damaging winds, and a low tornado threat.

There is a low threat for tornadoes this evening associated with a line of thunderstorms, with chance increase from southwest to northeast. These are most likely to occur between 6 PM and midnight tonight. If a tornado does form, it will be very difficult to detect on radar due to how quickly they form and dissipate, especially for storms further aways from the radar.
