A Freeze Watch is in effect for potentially freezing temperatures between 9 PM Sunday night to 10 AM Monday morning for all of Deep South Texas except for the islands.

An Extreme Cold Watch is in effect for potentially extreme cold temperatures for late Sunday night to 8 AM Monday morning for all of Deep South Texas.

A cold front this weekend will bring in much colder air by Sunday morning. Low temperatures are forecast fall below freezing across much of the region Monday and Tuesday mornings. Stay tuned for further updates.
