The Latest Potential Impact Information on Potential Tropical Cyclone 1

Torrential rain bands associated with Potential Tropical Cyclone 1 are likely to produce flooding of poor drainage locations of the RGV as early as pre-dawn Wednesday and continuing through Thursday. Other impacts include beach and dock flooding with waves pounding into the dunes, and gusty winds that could reach 40 to 50 mph near the coast and 30 to 40 mph as far inland as Hidalgo in squalls.
