A Small Craft Advisory has replaced the Gale Warning and is in effect till 7 AM CDT Tuesday. Northeast winds 15-25 knots will gusts as high as 30 kts. This will create wave heights between 8-13 feet.
A Coastal Flood Statement is in effect through 5 AM Tuesday for tidal runup along the lower Texas coast in the wake of the cold front and gale conditions. Narrow beaches may become impassable.
