Atmospheric River Continues Areas of Heavy Rain and Snow for California This Weekend

An atmospheric river will continue to bring gusty winds, moderate to heavy rainfall, and potential flooding to southern California and the southern Great Basin through Sunday. Overview

A strong low pressure system brought heavy snow to portions of the area starting late Friday night April 22nd and persisting through Sunday April 24th. Blizzard conditions impacted southeast Montana, especially on Saturday, which included strong and gusty winds along with the visibility being reduced to 1/4 mile or less at times.  This storm system also brought beneficial moisture to the area including snowfall that contained a high moisture content.
