Heavy Rainfall and Severe Thunderstorm Threats for the Plains and Southeast

A frontal boundary extending from the western High Plains to the Southeast will focus additional showers and thunderstorms this weekend. Some of these storms may become severe, alongside frequent lightning, and isolated instances of flash flooding. Virtual Hurricane Town Halls

 

Join the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi for a Hurricane Town Hall. Topics for discussion will include what you can expect for the 2020 hurricane season, how to prepare, and a brief overview of any current activity in the tropics.

 

The town hall will conclude with a short question and answer session with National Weather Service meteorologists.
