A High Risk of Rip Currents is now in effect through early Tuesday morning. Be sure to use EXTREME caution if traveling to the beaches. Remember if caught in a rip current, wave, yell, and swim parallel.

When at the beach, swim where there are lifeguards and never swim alone. If caught in a rip, relax and call for help and swim along the shoreline. Remain hydrated and use sunscreen. Be aware of the weather. If you hear thunder, go immediately to an enclosed building or hard-topped vehicle.

Mostly cloudy conditions with a chance of showers and thunderstorms can be expected along the Gulf beaches today. A HIGH RISK of Rip Currents remains in effect for today through Tuesday morning. Be sure to use EXTREME caution if at any of the beaches. Remember if caught in a rip current, wave, yell, and swim parallel.

There's a low to moderate chance for isolated/scattered showers and storms over much of South Texas today. Skies will be mostly cloudy through the day with clearing skies in the evening. Highs in the 80s and 90s. Southeast winds 15-20 mph.

Partly to mostly cloudy skies with lows in the mid 70s inland and 80s along the coast. Southeast winds will be generally around 15-20 MPH out west and along the coast.

The next chance for showers and thunderstorms can be expected mid-week and again this upcoming weekend but chances are low. Highs range from the mid 80s along the coast to the mid to upper 90s inland. Lows generally in the mid 70s to low 80s.
