Severe Threat Today

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible across NE Montana at times today. There is a growing chance for severe thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours, especially in the Slight Risk region shaded in yellow. The strongest storms will be capable of damaging winds, hail up to the size of quarters, dangerous lightning, and locally heavy downpours. Remember to monitor for any warnings that may be issued and when thunder roars, go indoors!
