Give Us Your Opinion About NWS
Winter Weather Products and NWS Flood Products
The NWS Hazards Simplification project team is requesting feedback through May 31, 2017, on proposed changes to our Watch, Warning and Advisory messages for winter weather and flooding. Two surveys are available, one for winter weather products and one for flooding products.
These are the most important Hazard Simplification surveys to date! The results will drive the decision as to what changes the NWS should consider making as part of a possible operational demonstration later this year. A listing of the specific proposals, along with examples of the proposed consolidated and reformatted messages, are contained in the Product Description Document (PDD).
Links to the surveys can be found below and will be available through May 31st. Each survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for your help!!
