September Climate Summary - Key Points

  • Temperatures averaged 3-6 degrees above normal, which put some sites in their top 10 warmest September
    • Only a few days saw below normal temperatures.  Much of the month featured July-like readings.
  • Rainfall was generally above normal, especially in southern and eastern IL
