3 NW Owens Crossroads
A tornado touched down just east of Green Mountain. The tornado moved south-southeast through farm fields along Big Cove Road. Aerial and ground surveys revealed that the tornado left a cyclonic swirling pattern in a hayfield.

A weak tornado touched at Kendale Gardens six miles northeast of Florence and moved northeast through the town of Killen. Most of the property damage occurred in Killen where large trees fell on roofs of homes.
