Our dry spell was short-lived as rain returns to the region today. Rainfall amounts through the weekend will generally range from 1-3". The highest totals will be along and south of the I-85 corridor.
A dreary day can be expected today as rain spread across the region. Greatest chances will be across our southern areas. Highs today look to only warm into the mid 40s to around 50°.
Rain continues overnight with lows falling into the mid 30s to low 40s. Winds will be light and variable.
