Strong Coastal Storm Affects Eastern North Carolina, November 1, 2014.

 

A strong coastal storm led to high winds, minor coastal flooding and heavy rainfall along coastal portions of eastern North Carolina and ushered in the coldest air of the fall season in the afternoon and evening of Saturday November 1, 2014 and into the morning hours of November 2. Here are some of the peak wind gusts recorded during this event.
