Edouard Continues to Impact Texas; Severe Storms and Heavy Rain from the Lower Great Lakes to Mid-Atlantic

Edouard will continue to bring gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and a flash flood threat over parts of eastern Texas. Severe thunderstorms and heavy rain are possible across portions of the eastern Great Lakes to the Mid-Atlantic today. Severe storms are also expected across the northern Rockies. Overview

On the afternoon of August 10, 2016, an area of scattered thunderstorms organized into a large complex of thunderstorms that produced heavy rainfall across much of Minnesota and Wisconsin. The rainfall rates exceeded 2 inches/hour in many locations across the area and the storms lingered into the morning of August 11, 2016.
