Dangerous Cold and Gusty Winds Anticipated This Weekend

A significant arctic outbreak will bring frigid temperatures and dangerously cold wind chills to the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic this weekend. Strong winds which could produce tree damage and power outages, and periods of snow squalls are also possible.   2. Low Noise Band (LNB) down converter; Norsat 3220 or better
  3. Satellite receiver; DVB-S2 Novra S300 or better
  4. Ethernet, RF Coaxial or CatV network cables as needed
  5. Personal Computer
  6. Optional: access to Internet and NWWS-Open Interface set-up for NWS product ingest
