There is a low severe weather threat this afternoon and evening. Primary threats include damaging winds, heavy rain, and a very low tornado threat.
Daily rounds of showers and thunderstorms will continue into early next week with rain amounts generally ranging from 2 to 4 inches. While ponding in low-lying areas is possible, widespread flooding is not expected.
