There are low to medium chances for showers and thunderstorms each day. The most likely timing is from late morning into the early evening. The severe storm threat remains very low. However, storms that do develop may produce heavy downpours, gusty winds and frequent lightning. Heat index values will peak in the low 100s each afternoon in many areas.
