Middle Tennessee Weather History For May 24th...
On May 24, 2000...A five day stretch of severe weather reaches its
zenith during the evening of the 24th and early the following
morning. Eight tornadoes touch down over several hours, seventeen
during the five days. The most damaging of these is an F2 which
strikes southeast Hickman County, tearing a 7.8 mile path, and
injuring 3.
