Dangerous heat continues through Monday. Heat index values will top 105 in some areas. Stay hydrated, dress accordingly, and make sure to prioritize shade and breaks indoors.
There's a low chance for a few strong to severe thunderstorms, mainly across eastern Middle TN. Primary concerns are damaging winds and heavy rain.
Heat Advisory is in effect for all of Middle Tennessee until 7 p.m. Monday. Afternoon heat index values of 105° are expected in many areas. There are low to medium thunderstorm chances Monday, mainly east of I-65. There is a low risk of severe storms from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Temperatures will drop back to climatological norms by week’s end.
