Tornadoes:

The damage survey in Mississippi County, MO revealed a mix of straight-line wind damage and a tornado. Significant microbursts occurred in Calloway County, KY. Considerable damage was observed in and around Hazel, located on the Tennessee border.

Peak Winds 125 mph Path Length 3.8 miles Max Width 150 yds Injuries/Deaths 0 / 0 Summary: One home destroyed with roof removed. Multiple outbuildings collapsed. Multiple large trees snapped and uprooted. Path extended from 5.2 miles west-northwest of Fulton to near intersection of Highways 51 and 94, a few miles northwest of Fulton. Peak Winds 105 mph Path Length 7.5 miles Max Width 100 yards Injuries/Deaths 0 / 0 Summary: Multiple trees snapped. Many tree branches and some trees fell on multiple homes which inflicted damage. Tornado #3 - Cuba, KY area Graves County Date May 4, 2021 Time (Local) 3:55 - 4:00 AM CDT EF Rating EF-1 Est. Peak Winds 95 mph Path Length 5 miles Max Width 125 yd Injuries/Deaths 0 / 0 Summary: Several farm buildings, including a large shop, lost parts or all of their roofs, with several smaller structures destroyed. At least a couple of homes had mainly minor damage to roofs or siding. Dozens of large trees were snapped or uprooted. Tornado  #4- East of Mayfield, KY Graves County Date May 4, 2021 Time (Local) 3:59 AM CDT EF Rating EF-1 Est. Peak Winds 95 mph Path Length 0.5 mile Max Width 100 yards Injuries/Deaths 0 / 0 Summary: Brief tornado in rural farmland and wooded area. Began and ended 3.5 to 4 miles east-northeast of Mayfield, just south of Highway 58. Minor to moderate roof damage to house. Several very large trees snapped and uprooted. Tornado  #5 - Hopkinsville, KY Christian County Date May 4, 2021 Time (Local) 5:12 - 5:15 AM CDT EF Rating EF-0 Est. Peak Winds 85 mph Path Length 2.6 miles Max Width 75 yards Injuries/Deaths 0 / 0 Summary:  At least 4 barn lost portions of their tin roofs and/or walls. Several trees were uprooted of lost limbs. Tornado  #6 - Dorena, MO area Mississippi County Date May 4, 2021 Time (Local) 3:19 - 3:25 AM CDT EF Rating EF-1 Est. Peak Winds 105 mph Path Length 3.8 miles Max Width 400 yards Injuries/Deaths 0 / 0 Summary: The tornado began in open farmland, and uprooted and snapped several large trees along Highway 77, then proceeded ENE toward the MS River, damaging a pivot sprinkler system and totally destroying an equipment shed near the levee.  Many trees on the east side of the levee had trunks and limbs snapped, and some trees were uprooted. The Enhanced Fujita (EF) Scale classifies tornadoes into the following categories:

EF0 Weak 65-85 mph	EF1 Moderate 86-110 mph	EF2 Significant 111-135 mph	EF3 Severe 136-165 mph	EF4 Extreme 166-200 mph	EF5 Catastrophic 200+ mph

Flooding

The storms produced around 1 to 3 inches on average. Locally higher amounts up to 5 inches occurred in the Pennyrile region of western Kentucky near Greenville.

Flash flooding of roads was observed along the axis of heaviest rain, which extended from near Doniphan, MO to just south of Poplar Bluff, Paducah, and Madisonville. Somewhat more intense flooding occurred around Greenville, KY, where a couple residences were evacuated.
