Storm Impacting the Southwest U.S.; Above Normal Temperatures Further East

A storm system will shift across the southwest U.S. through Thursday with widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms. Isolated flooding is possible. Severe Thunderstorm Event April 3, 2014

A potent storm system pushed across the central U.S. Thursday, April 3 2014 producing strong to locally severe storms. Scattered thunderstorms developed Thursday morning into the afternoon while a line of thunderstorms pushed across the Ozarks later Thursday afternoon and evening.   The strongest storms produced hail up to the size of golf balls and localized wind damage.
