Overview

A strong storm system and associated cold front brought widespread showers and thunderstorms to the region on Wednesday April 10, 2013.  Moderate to heavy rainfall fell across much of the area with the higher amounts ranging from 1.0 to 2.5".  This rainfall resulted in flooding of small streams and low water crossings  as well as larger stem rivers.

Severe thunderstorms developed across south central Missouri generally east of a Branson to Rolla line. Some of these storms produced hail to the size of 1.25" in diamter and localized wind damage.
