Winds Diminishing, Turning Colder

Winter Storm Warning - Update

Northwest winds will diminish and become northerly this evening, allowing colder Canadian air to spill into the area. Look for temperatures to drop off tonight into the teens to the mid 20s.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from midnight tonight through 6 pm Saturday for Garfield, Petroleum, and SW Phillips Counties. Heavy snow will move into the warning area late tonight night and continue through Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, the remainder of northeast Montana will have light snow more likely on Saturday.
