Fire Weather in the Central and Southern Plains; Pacific Storms Impacting the West

A winter storm is expected late Tuesday into Wednesday. While snow totals are still in flux, snow & strong winds will bring the possibility of whiteout conditions. Have alternate plans for travel and stock up on items you may need before the storm.
An extreme cold outbreak brought lows in the -50s to many locations between February 14 and 17, 1936. Several all time record lows were set that still stand today. February 1936 was the coldest month on record several locations.
