A stationary front will continue to bring heavy to excessive rainfall to South Florida into Saturday with localized and urban flooding possible. Heavy to excessive rainfall is forecast through Saturday over the southern Rockies into the southern Plains. Instances of flash flooding are possible, especially in higher terrain and burn scars. Isolated Flash Flooding Possible Saturday & Saturday Night
Isolated to Scattered Storms with Heavy Rain Saturday
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to move into the Panhandles Saturday and Saturday. These thunderstorms are expected to produce heavy rain. Any location that sees slow moving thunderstorms or repeated rounds of thunderstorms in quick succession could see flash flooding. This heavy rain potential is expected to last into the night as well, increasing the concern for nighttime flooding.

Showers and thunderstorms will be possible as early as Saturday morning in the western Panhandles, but becomes increasingly likely in the afternoon and especially into the nighttime hours. Heavy rainfall is expected to be the primary hazard at this time.
