Goshen (Pike County) Wind Damage

Sporadic wind damage occurred in the Goshen community in southwest Pike County. Most of the damage was concentrated on a farm along Anderson Blvd near the intersection with Perrywood Rd. Here, several farm outbuildings, constructed of metal frames and tin roofs, were destroyed. A few other locations of minor tree damage was noted to the east-northeast along County Road 28 and Little Oak Road. 

Winds were estimated between 70 and 80 mph.

Louisville (Barbour County) Wind Damage
February 15, 2016

  

 

A short, narrow swath of wind damage occurred just east of Louisville. The damage began along County Road 20 near Hagler Mill Road where several tree branches were broken. Just to the east-northeast, near the intersection of County Road 20 and County Road 19 (Carroway Rd), several chicken houses sustained minor damage. The last noted damage was found just to the northeast along County Road 19 where additional tree branches were broken.

Winds were estimated around 60 mph.
