            THE TORNADO INITIALLY TOUCHED DOWN AND UPROOTED TREES ONE
            MILE WSW OF MILLPORT. THE TORNADO THEN TRAVELED NE AND
            CROSSED HWY 17 ONE HALF MILE WEST OF MILLPORT. ON EITHER
            SIDE OF HWY 17 THERE WERE 50 TO 70 TREES SNAPPED OR
            UPROOTED AND A COUPLE OF HOMES SUSTAINED SHINGLE DAMAGE.
            IN THE SAME GENERAL LOCATION A TRACTOR TRAILER WAS
            OVERTURNED AND A METAL ROOF WAS BLOWN OFF A GARAGE. THE
            ESTIMATED PEAK WINDS WERE 95 MPH WITH THE WIDTH OF THE
            PATH 500 YARDS AT ITS WIDEST POINT.

            TREES SW OF HWY 82. ONCE IT CROSSED HWY 82 THE TORNADO
            UPROOTED SEVERAL TREES AND CAUSED MINOR ROOF DAMAGE TO
            SEVERAL HOMES AND OUTBUILDINGS. THE TORNADO TRAVELED
            FURTHER NORTHEAST CAUSING MINOR ROOF COVERING AND AWNING
            DAMAGE ALONG THE REMAINDER OF THE PATH. IN TOTAL SEVERAL
            DOZEN TREES WERE SNAPPED OR UPROOTED. THE ESTIMATED PEAK
            WINDS WERE 90 MPH WITH THE WIDTH OF THE PATH 150 YARDS AT
            ITS WIDEST POINT.

            OF HOLLINS NEAR THE BROWNSVILLE COMMUNITY. THE MOST
            SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE OCCURRED ALONG COUNTY ROAD 7 NORTH OF
            PARTRIDGE CREEK ROAD. SEVERAL TREES WERE EITHER UPROOTED
            OR WERE SNAPPED OFF IN THIS AREA. THE DAMAGE PATH WAS 1.7
            MILES LONG AND WAS 40 YARDS WIDE AT ITS WIDEST POINT.
            WINDS WERE ESTIMATED AT 75 TO 80 MPH.
