RED FLAG EVENT CRITERIA — UPDATED 2025

Moderate Risk for Significant Fire Potential issued through National Interagency Coordination Center

Minimum Relative Humidity values less than 25%

20-ft Wind ≥ 15 mph or 20-ft Wind Gusts ≥ 20 mph

(10 m ASOS Winds ≥ 17 mph or Wind Gusts ≥ 25 mph)
