On Saturday, March 13th, 2010, the National Weather Service in Birmingham held its annual Open House at the office on Shelby County Airport. Starting at 10 am, the public began streaming in to see how things work in the office, meet the forecasters and take a tour of the office. In addition to touring the office, the public was able to tour the emergency vehicles of some of our local Emergency Management Agencies.
