Severe weather and flooding threats will continue for portions of the central U.S. over the next couple of days, with multiple rounds of thunderstorms expected. Dangerous heat will persist across the southern and western U.S. through mid-week. The Survey team found EF-1 damage with the tornado that occurred on June 7th. The path length was 7 miles with a width of 50 yards in spots. The tornado started 2 miles northeast of Firestone and ended 3 miles northwest of Platteville.
