Hurricane Erin Moving Away from the North Carolina Coast, Dangerous Surf & Rip Currents Continue; Hazardous Heat out West

Tropical storm conditions, storm surge flooding and coastal flooding continue today across the Outer Banks and portions of the Mid-Atlantic coast. History of Colorado Tornadoes
(1950-2024)

 

The map below shows a history of tornadoes, across Colorado from 1950 through 2024, from the SPC database.  The F Scale was replaced by the EF scale in 2007.  Further details on each tornado can be accessed by clicking on the map.  Since 1950, only one tornado has been classified as an F4, which was in Baca county on May 15th, 1977.
