We will have a lingering threat for excessive rainfall today. A lot of rain has fallen overnight in the northern Coastal Plains and any additional isolated showers and storms that occur today could lead to additional flooding.
A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for all waters along the Middle Texas Coast through 1 PM Monday. Southerly winds will be around 20 knots with gusts 25 knots and seas between 5-7 ft.
A few showers and storms will linger in the Coastal Plains today, especially this morning, but we'll gradually dry out by this evening. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s.
Warm and humid conditions continue tonight. Low temperatures will be in the 70s.
High temperatures will once again be in the upper 80s today with a moderate southerly wind. A few showers and storms will be linger today. There is a moderate risk of rip currents. Use caution when out in the water, especially near piers and jetties where rip currents can be stronger.
We're going to have some time to dry out this week after all the rain we've been seeing. No notable rain chances are in the forecast through the work-week, and temperatures remain near normal.
