Strong Winds and Blowing Snow Impacting Travel in Southeast Wyoming This Morning

The wind prone areas of southeast Wyoming remain in a Ground Blizzard Warning thru 11 AM this morning. Westerly winds gusting to 60 MPH are combining with recent heavy snowfall to create hazardous driving conditions. Blowing Snow Advisories highlighted in purple on the graphic are in effect through 11 AM as well.

Winds will ease slightly this afternoon, but will remain gusty with blowing and drifting snow continuing this afternoon. Another cold front moves into the area tonight to give us a fairly widespread, light snow event.
