Freeze Temperatures Expected Late Tonight and Into Early Friday

 

A Hard Freeze is expected late tonight and early Friday morning for portions of southeast Wyoming and northwest Nebraska, including the towns of Laramie, Lusk, Douglas, Chadron, and Alliance where temperatures are forecast to range between 25 to 30 degrees by early Friday morning.  A frost advisory is in effect for locations that will be a few degrees warmer, but near freezing temperatures are still expected.

Residents over these locations are urged to protect outdoor plants and cover late-season gardens.  Residents with sprinkler systems are urged to begin winterization procedures to prevent freezing.
