Scattered severe storms capable of producing large hail and damaging winds are expected from Montana, the Dakotas, and into northwestern Montana; and in the South and Central High Plains. Heavy rain may produce flash flooding in portions of the Plains, especially, the North Plains; Mississippi Valley; Appalachians; and Deep South.
