A northeastward moving Quasi-linear Convective System, or QLCS Squall Line, developed in northeast South Dakota and tracked across portions of extreme southeast North Dakota, west-central Minnesota, and into southern portions of northwest Minnesota from mid-afternoon into the evening hours.
