Snow Spreading Across the Area Monday

Snow will spread across the area by morning and persist into Tuesday. Locations near central Minnesota hold the best chance of seeing significant snowfall (greater than 6 inches). Gusty southeast winds could create areas of blowing and drifting snow, especially within the southern Red River Valley into west-central Minnesota Monday morning. Read More >

     Cooperative Weather Observer reports
These supplemental reports contain information obtained from Cooperative Weather Observers. The information they provide may include high and low temperatures, precipitation, snowfall, snowdepth, water equivalent of the snow pack, and manual river gage readings. This information is vital for both the development of short term meteorological and hydrologic forecasts as well as assessing longer term climate changes.
