Many locations in the Northern Valley received between 1 - 4 inches of snow, with highest accumulations around the International border
Impacts
Many roads in both North Dakota and Minnesota closed in the morning and remained closed through the afternoon.

North Dakota road conditions as of 9:45 AM. No travel advised for all counties in red, and roads closed. I-29 from Canada down to Fargo shut down, and US 2 from Grand Forks to Devils Lake as well. (NDDOT) | North Dakota road conditions as of 11:45 AM. Some counties removed from No Travel Advised, but major roads remain shut down. You can also see the area of I-94 shut down near Valley City for a large pileup. (NDDOT) | North Dakota road conditions as of 3 PM. We also had a large pileup on I-94 near Valley City. Multiple injuries occurred.
#NDHP troopers are dealing with a crash in the westbound lane on I-94 about 5 miles west of Valley City. There are multiple vehicles involved as well as multiple injuries. The westbound lane is currently closed at Valley City. pic.twitter.com/Wbu4kAkon7
