Overview

A very weak waterspout was photographed on Loon Lake in northern Shawano County on June 4, 2016. No damage occurred.

The waterspout (or tornado on water) was associated with a shower that did not produce lightning. The shower formed along a boundary (wind shift) which likely provided the rotation required to produce the weak waterspout.
