Strong north winds on Saturday, March 30 caused large chunks of ice to break free and begin to move on the Bay of Green Bay.  Below is a GOES-16 visible satellite loop from the afternoon hours.  Several slabs of ice over the northern bay break free of the shore and begin shifting south.  A smaller chunk of ice over the southern portion of the bay separates from the main ice field and drifts south through a small area of open water at the mouth of the Fox River.
