Heat Wave Continues; Areas of Severe Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain

Arctic air will continue to generate bitter cold wind chills through mid-morning. Wind chill readings are expected in the 20 below to 35 below zero range during this period. Frostbite can occur in as little as 20 minutes with wind chills this low, so be sure to dress in layers and cover exposed skin if you plan to venture outside.
